An hour or so before you plan to bake, take a stick and a half of butter out of the fridge.
When you put on your apron, crank the oven to 375F
- 1 cup APF
- 1.5 t Baking Powder
- .25 t salt
- .75 cup (stick and a half) butter, softened.
- 2 T milk
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 egg
- .5 cup sugar
- .5 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 6 oz chocolate chips
- 1.75 cups rolled oats
Spoon on to greased baking sheet, bake off until lightly browned on top. Cool and let set-up. Eat with milk.
